Since diseases first began to plague the earth, man has continuously looked for the perfect medicine to cure all the sickness. At the same time, man is also looking for a way to prevent all the possible sickness for people to live longer and experience life to the fullest.

These ambitions of man have led to the development of medicine as we know it. Surgeons have become more specialized and expert in very sensitive areas of the human body such as the heart and the brain. These people can now operate without any fuss on a brain of a human or even the live pumping heart of man in the operating room. At the same time, there are also alternative medicines being developed and introduced to the public such as herbal capsules and herbal therapies.

There is one alternate therapy being introduced to the public and being constantly supported by various practitioners. This therapy is practically free, safe and can be done without the help of any specialist. The therapy is called Water Therapy.

Water Therapy is really simple. The person who wishes to undergo water therapy should prepare 1.5 liters of water everyday. The person then drinks them altogether and fasts for at least an hour from any food or drink and that’s it. You may wonder why 1.5 liters. It’s the estimated amount of water you can take so that you body can be cleansed with the use of water. Everyday the water will clean all the toxins found in your body and release them via sweat or urinal excretions.

Before we look into its effects, let’s all consider first the danger of this therapy. People have shown hesitation to this kind of therapy since there is a potential of water intoxication – a fatal disease that can happen from drinking water. This can be prevented by drinking clean waters and give intervals in drinking the whole 1.5 liters. People also showed hesitation since drinking 1.5 liters will make you urinate from time to time. This is true however, with daily intake of water; the body would eventually adjust to the water intake and you can act normally even with the daily intake of 1.5 liters everyday.

Now let’s take a look at the benefits water therapy has to offer. If taken properly, constipation can go away with only one session. Acidity are known to be cured with only two session. Diabetes can be controlled with only seven sessions. Hypertension can be controlled with only four weeks of water therapy, and even cancers are known to be controlled in the same amount of time. If person has pulmonary TB, three months of water therapy should do it. These facts were based on research and experience by followers.

This is actually an amazing therapy. However, if you are seriously ill, make sure to contact your physician first and get their confirmation before chugging down this volume of water. Sometimes there are patients who are advised against drinking too much water as they would be harmful to their own health. But if you’re not a special patient and see no complications in your body, start drinking and see the results in no time. You’ll feel healthier, stronger and cleaner inside and out.

Between the synapses of your brain is water—not soda or juice or sports drink—water. I’m sure you’ve heard that drinking water is important, and it is. But, do you know what happens to your body when you don’t drink enough water? Many people depend on a sense of thirst to tell them when they need a drink. Actually, by the time you feel thirsty your body has already suffered the consequences of dehydration.

When your body is not adequately hydrated, it affects your overall health. One of the first symptoms is a headache. Often people will take a couple of aspirin, when actually they need to drink a couple of glasses of water. The next time you get a headache, try this before taking medication.

Another common thing that happens when you don’t drink enough water is that you become constipated. Usually people with this problem will take a stool softener or some other medication, but again, if you drink adequate amounts of water, the problem may disappear. If not, chronic constipation can lead to hemorrhoids and eventually surgery. Isn’t drinking water preferable to that?

When lack of proper hydration becomes a chronic long-term problem, the symptoms become more systemic. It’s not uncommon for people to develop heartburn, allergies, arthritis, Lupus, and various autoimmune conditions because they don’t drink enough water. Don’t we all know someone with one of these problems? You see, you can’t flush toxins out with sugar and caffeine. Very simply, your body stops functioning properly without adequate amounts of water.

Maybe you’ve never heard this before. How can water cure all these problems? Well, don’t underestimate the power of the pharmaceutical industry. Right now there’s no money to be made by writing people prescriptions for water.

If you’re used to consuming lots of soft drinks, the taste of water may not be all that enticing. Well, there are many ways to get more water into your body. First, limit the amount of soft drinks you consume. The sugar and caffeine have to be processed by your body and this requires water—water that you’re not drinking enough of.

As a former soda and ice tea junkie, I’ll share my tips for learning to like water. I found that drinking it ice cold made tastes better. My favorite way is over crushed ice with a lemon wedge. There are water flavors that you can buy at the local health food store. Also, consider adding stevia. Stevia is a very sweet herb that is often used by diabetics as a sugar replacement. You can find it at the health food store as well.

If you’re satisfied with the taste of tap water, that’s great. If not, you have several options. Of course you can buy bottled water, but if that’s too pricey, consider purchasing a water filter to place on the taps at home. There are various water filters you can buy that filter out minerals and other additives the local water authority adds. The taste will improve immediately.

Like anything else new, adding sufficient water to your diet requires a plan. It’s not easy if you haven’t grown up doing it. Commercials are constantly peddling the latest wonder drink, and convenient snack machines sell soft drinks that make it difficult to pass up. Bring your water bottle to work and devote a month to your new habit. You’ll notice that nagging problems like headaches and indigestion disappear.

During nearly 19 years of clinical practice I have had the opportunity to observe the health effects of drinking different types of water. Most of you would agree that drinking unfiltered tap water could be hazardous to your health because of things like parasites, chlorine, fluoride and dioxins. Many health fanatics, however, are often surprised to hear me say that drinking purified water on a regular, daily basis is potentially dangerous. Paavo Airola wrote about the dangers of purified water in the 1970's when it first became a fad with the health food crowd.

Distillation is the process in which water is boiled, evaporated and the vapor condensed. Purified or reverse osmosis water is free of dissolved minerals and, because of this, has the special property of being able to actively absorb toxic substances from the body and eliminate them. Studies validate the benefits of drinking purified water when one is seeking to cleanse or detoxify the system for short periods of time (a few weeks at a time). Fasting using purified water can be dangerous because of the rapid loss of electrolytes (sodium, potassium, chloride) and trace minerals like magnesium, deficiencies of which can cause heart beat irregularities and high blood pressure. Cooking foods in purified water pulls the minerals out of them and lowers their nutrient value.

Purified water is an active absorber and when it comes into contact with air, it absorbs carbon dioxide, making it acidic. The more purified water a person drinks, the higher the body acidity becomes. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, "Purified" water, being essentially mineral-free, is very aggressive, in that it tends to dissolve substances with which it is in contact. Notably, carbon dioxide from the air is rapidly absorbed, making the water acidic and even more aggressive. Many metals are dissolved by purified water.

The most toxic commercial beverages that people consume (i.e. cola beverages and other soft drinks) are made from purified water. Studies have consistently shown that heavy consumers of soft drinks (with or without sugar) spill huge amounts of calcium, magnesium and other trace minerals into the urine. The more mineral loss, the greater the risk for osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, hypothyroidism, coronary artery disease, high blood pressure and a long list of degenerative diseases generally associated with premature aging.

A growing number of health care practitioners and scientists from around the world have been advocating the theory that aging and disease is the direct result of the accumulation of acid waste products in the body. There is a great deal of scientific documentation that supports such a theory. A poor diet may be partially to blame for the waste accumulation. Meats, sugar, white flour products, fried foods, soft drinks, processed foods, alcohol, dairy products and other junk foods cause the body to become more acidic. Stress, whether mental or physical can lead to acid deposits in the body.

There is a correlation between the consumption of soft water (purified water is extremely soft) and the incidence of cardiovascular disease. Cells, tissues and organs do not like to be dipped in acid and will do anything to buffer this acidity including the removal of minerals from the skeleton and the manufacture of bicarbonate in the blood. The longer one drinks purified water, the more likely the development of mineral deficiencies and an acid state. I have done well over 3000 mineral evaluations using a combination of blood, urine and hair tests in my practice. Almost without exception, people who consume purified water exclusively, eventually develop multiple mineral deficiencies. Those who supplement their purified water intake with trace minerals are not as deficient but still not as adequately nourished in minerals as their non-purified water drinking counterparts even after several years of mineral supplementation.

The ideal water for the human body should be slightly alkaline and this requires the presence of minerals like calcium and magnesium. Purified water tends to be acidic and can only be recommended as a way of drawing poisons out of the body. Once this is accomplished, the continued drinking of purified water is a bad idea.

Water filtered through a solid charcoal filter is slightly alkaline. Ozonation of this charcoal filtered water is ideal for daily drinking. Longevity is associated with the regular consumption of hard water (high in minerals). Ionized Water is the best possible drinking water. Disease and early death is more likely to be seen with the long term drinking of purified water. Avoid it except in special circumstances.

The health benefits of drinking water, at least for already healthy people, may have been oversold, according to a new report. The findings will likely disappoint water-bottle-toting Americans and relieve those who can never seem to down those eight glasses of water a day, widely recommended for our health.

But there is nothing magical about those eight glasses, at least when it comes to proven health benefits, according to a new report. "There is no clear evidence of benefit from drinking increased amounts of water," writes Stanley Goldfarb, MD, professor of medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and the senior author of an editorial on the topic in the Journal of the AmericanSociety of Nephrology.

Those doctors and others who have been recommending drinking eight glasses of water aren't basing it on anything scientific, according to Goldfarb. He concludes that most healthy people don't have to worry about drinking eight glasses every day.

He emphasizes he is talking about healthy people with kidneys that function well. And he points out that people who live in hot, dry climates do need to drink more water to avoid dehydration, as do those who engage in vigorous exercise.

Health Benefits of Drinking Water: Search for Evidence

Goldfarb was curious about where the longstanding recommendation about eight daily glasses of water originated. "In my mind it wasn't that drinking this extra water would hurt you, but that you might not have to."

So he combed through medical literature dating back to the early 1970s, trying to find the science to back up the advice.

Turns out, there is no single study and no single outcome that led to the recommendation becoming popular, he says. Somehow, it took on a life of its own.

Goldfarb and his University of Pennsylvania colleague, Dan Negoianu, MD, next examined some popular claims about the health benefits of drinking water, trying in each case to find scientific evidence.

"We looked at the evidence of some of the so-called urban myths that have grown up about drinking water," Goldfarb says.

Drinking water is crucial elements of our health, but it’s a habit hard to aquire in our culture.

That’s why it’s super important to try to make drinking water a part our children’s lives so it will become a habit that will stay with them.

Some people think it’s acceptable to give young children, even infants, soda. I’m going to get on my high horse and say that it’s absolutely not okay to do so. Soda is full of sugar (and not just any sugar, high fructose corn syrup!), caffeinne, and a bunch of other crap that is terrible for young teeth and young bodies.

Beyond that, giving your child any flavored drink on a regular basis is setting him up for thinking that everything he drinks should be flavored. This will mean more work to keep him on a healthy diet when he’s older. You’ll also be setting yourself up for higher grocery bills to sooth his desire for flavored drinks when he could be consuming mostly water.

If you’re already in this situation, I know from experience that you’re not doomed. My siblings and I were raised in the same household, drinking and loving soda from a young age. Although I have a small addiction to soda, my drink of choice is water. And my teenage sister is the same way due to my overzealous water preaching. Now as far as my 13 year old brother…he may be doomed!

One thing I have found that works for kids (including my 9-year-old nephew) who hate water is Propel Vitamin Enhanced powder packets. These flavored packets are added to water and make them taste good. They also add some vitamins to the water, and with a suger content of 2 grams per serving, they are aren’t a bad substitute for plain ol’ water if your kid drinks it happily.

When one starts to get the tightening sensation in the head, it's so, so easy to reach for a bottle of pain medication. But, many over the counter drugs have side effects that could even be worse than the headache itself! One of the major causes for headaches is dehydration.

To heal your headache naturally is drinking water, it is a good idea to first find out what type of headache you have. First, there are chronic tension headaches that can result from stress, fatigue and even from physical problems, psychological and emotional issues and depression. Then, there are cluster headaches, which are categorized by coming in groups of one to four a day in a set cluster periods that could be days or months. Hormonal headaches are similar to migraines in that they affect only one side of the head, and they are also frequently accompanied by nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to light and/or noise. Finally, there are sinus headaches, which can be experienced after a cold or other medical condition.

Water can be the good treatment to all of these headaches. In tension headaches, it was noted above that a cause can be fatigue. Fatigue is a side effect of dehydration. So, if dehydration is the cause of the fatigue and fatigue is the cause of the headache- start by treating the fatigue and get hydrated. Tension headaches could also be a symptom of other problems, so if they persist it is a good idea to seek help from a medical professional.

Cluster headaches are also known to be cured by drinking water. A woman by the name of Margi contributed a piece of advice at clusterheadaches.com, reporting that her husband's headaches have not come back since he started drinking a glass of water at least every hour. Additionally, the hot water from a nice, warm shower or bath can help relax those tightened muscles.

As far as preventing headaches, staying hydrated can help. In fact, a very common form of headache can come in the form of caffeine withdraw. Of course, having a coffee or soda can give the body what it wants and help ease the headache pain, but it could also begin a vicious cycle. Since caffeine dehydrates, the headache prone may be better off avoiding it and instead drink more water, juices and decaf teas, coffees and sodas.

That's why drinking water activities is very important, that's not only headaches what can treatment by drinking water, but many sickness can be treatment, i'll share again with you later about other amazing benefits of water

treatment with health drinking water
People who do not drink enough water can easily develop kidney disorders due to the heavy concentration of urine that is passed.

Kidneys/Kidney Stones
While they don't sound as important as the heart and lungs, kidneys are very important to our health. The kidneys, along with the liver and or urinary tract rid our body of waste materials. If the kidneys were to stop operating for only two days, it would cause a retention of metabolic toxins, and then uremia would set in. The accumulation of waste products, normally excreted in the urine, would cause metabolic poisoning.

Build-up of bacteria and proteins can cause crystals to form, which are known as kidney stones. These are very painful to pass. Some studies show that dehydration increases the chances of having kidney stones, and drinking plenty of water may very well prevent the formation of them. People living in the southeastern United States may have more kidney stones than people living elsewhere, and it is thought that the cause may be related to temperature and dehydration

But perhaps one of the easiest and most effective ways is to avoid dehydration. Dehydration is not only a symptom, but also the cause of many aliments, especially kidney infections and other disorders that can lead to more serious matters. If someone is prone to kidney and urinary ailments, they will want to avoid dehydration at all costs. People will want to drink at least 48 ounces of water per day, and will want to promptly treat any illnesses that cause dehydration, such as diarrhea, vomiting, or fever. During hot weather and exercise, it is even more important to replenish fluids that may have been lost through water and even the occasional sports drink. Also, they will want to avoid caffeinated beverages, such as coffee and colas. They increase urine output and dehydrate the body faster, as do alcoholic beverages.
